These were not only very simple, but they taste amazing! What You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup powdered slippery elm
  • 1/4 cup tea (I made peppermint and lemon balm tea from fresh herb I had in the garden)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey

Once you'd made the tea add the honey, then mix in the powdered slippery elm. Form a ball, and roll or press/pat flat (1/4 inch thick). I used a circle fondant cutter, but you can use anything like a bottle cap or medicine cup to cut out the lozenges. Allow these to dry, you can let them sit out for a day or 2 or use a dehydrator. Store in a tin or jar in a cool dry place.
